Meanwhile our heroes have been training and must now use their newly found powers with steadfast determination. Will the good guys find a way to turn the tide on evil and its minions? She's drop dead gorgeous and will drop you dead in your tracks … if you're not careful. She's a bit of a mystery, too, but that's always the case when your falling for this hottie…right Krillin? Android 18! Hurt me! And so does love conquer all? I guess we'll have to just wait and see… |

DescriptionThings look grim for our heroes: Goku is suffering from a heart virus that gives him traumatic nightmares, and the medicine Trunks brought from the future takes days to act. But time is in short supply: having killed their creator, Dr. Gero, the androids 16, 17, and 18 are hunting Goku. Vegeta takes on the blonde 18, who beats him to a pulp. Despite Vegeta's protests, Trunks, Tien, and Piccolo join the battle, but they're no match for the murderous cyborgs. The good guys must find a way to increase their powers immediately--Goku's life and possibly the Earth's fate hang in the balance. As they search for Goku, the androids steal a truck and get into a brawl with a gang of motorcycle thugs. The brawl gives Krillin and Trunks the chance to move Goku to Master Roshi's house, while Piccolo seeks the aid of Kami and Vegeta sulks. The journey is interrupted by the news that Bulma has discovered a second time capsule, similar to Trunks's--but whose? The many fans of Dragonball Z will enjoy these installments in the ongoing adventure, but novices may have trouble orienting themselves in a saga that's already lasted more than 100 episodes. The unrated edition is suitable for ages 8 and older, with cartoon violence and minor sexual innuendo. The edited version is the same program that plays on the Cartoon Network, removing blood, nudity, smoking, profanity, and even few frames from the moments when punches land. Goku, who's technically dead but still visting from the Other World, joins Vegeta and Gohan in the initial fights against Babidi's minions. It's all Goku can do to win Vegeta back, and the energy loosed in their stand-off enables Babidi to free Buu. But he's incredibly powerful and resilient: even the Saiyans can't defeat him. Goku realizes only one warrior can destroy Buu: Goten and Trunks in their Super-Saiyan forms must fuse to form an über-hero. The boys initially balk, as the Dance of Fusion looks and feels silly. But Gohan and Picollo whip them into shape and the formidable Gotenks appears. Season 8 offers much more action and excitement than the World Tournament story that takes up most of Season 7. But unlike the earlier DBZ adventures, the Babidi & Majin Buu Sagas end on a cliffhanger, with the fate of the Earth and its inhabitants hanging in the balance.
